1. Getting Started with Your Lease
Your lease will officially begin soon, and you’ll receive your lease agreement via SMS the day before your move-in date. On move-in day, you can pick up your keys from our office.
Before you collect your keys, please ensure that you’ve completed the following:
- Pay your second week’s rent: This payment must be made in advance of move-in.
- Return the direct debit form: Direct debit is our preferred payment method for rent, but if that doesn’t work for you, feel free to reach out to discuss other options. Centrepay deductions are available as well.
2. Setting Up Your Bond
Your rental bond will be securely managed through Rental Bonds Online, which allows you to pay your bond directly to NSW Fair Trading. You’ll receive an email with instructions on how to make the bond payment. Please ensure this payment is completed before you collect your keys.
3. Maintenance Requests Made Easy
We want to make property upkeep as simple as possible. To submit a maintenance request, simply scan the QR code located under the kitchen sink, which will take you directly to our online maintenance system. Alternatively, you can visit the Maintenance Request page on our website.
For urgent issues, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly so we can resolve them as quickly as possible.
4. Routine Inspections and Property Care
To keep the property in top shape, we conduct routine inspections every few months. These inspections can happen even if you’re not home, but please ensure that any pets are safely secured so our team can complete their work.
Additionally, unless otherwise stated in your lease, we ask that you maintain the garden and outdoor spaces. A tidy yard helps maintain the property’s curb appeal and ensures everything remains in great condition.
5. Clear Communication
At Brand Property, we believe in clear and transparent communication. Most of our correspondence will be in writing, making it easy for you to reference important information. If anything changes in your household, such as new tenants or pets, please let us know as soon as possible so we can update our records and continue providing excellent service.
